London wookie  jason chue aka wookie made it. with his hit ‘battle’ he produces in a league with uk garage stars such as artful dodger and mj cole. wookie’s youth was influenced by his father’s reggae sound-system. the young jason wanted to be an architect. but instead of this he ended up as a assistant in jazzi b’s soul2soul studio in the beginning of the nineties. due to being bored by schmaltzy r’n’b and monotonic drum’n’base, wookie settled with uk garage. he hasn’t got a spare minute since his first success. the turbulences and the night-long studio sessions have their disadvantages: his girl-friend left him because of that.
