London underwater hockey  every friday at 20.00 the actopush team members meet at acton’s swimming pool to play underwater hockey. portsmouth divers founded the sport in the 1950’s. after a quick warm up the teams play a thirty-minute match, changing sides after fifteen minutes. for first timers, the taster-session is free and includes an induction and equipment hire. it has to be booked a day in advance with the actopush organisers, just to make sure the right flipper-size is available. underwater hockey is great fun. the trick is not to swallow too much water. after the underwater combat everyone congregates in the local pub to socialize. special prices are offered to regular participants.  acton swimming pool COMMENTS Your voice on underwater hockey
