London sneaker pimps  back in 1996 sneaker pimps consisting of chris corner and liam howe were little trip hop stars. they had a club night called hometaping at the ica. the only club in london without a turntable. the pimps played exclusively mix tapes sent in by friends, unknowns and the famous. they've had numerous additional members and singers with chris corner taking up the position at one time. the last sneaker pimps album 'bloodsport' was released in 2002. chris corner now works on soundtracks and liam howe has become a successful producer and writer, working for the likes of ellie goulding.
