jim avignon has done the rounds. since the end of the 80s he’s been painting nearly all of berlin’s clubs. as a self taught painter jim doesn’t really fit into the art business. avignon’s galleries are the clubs. the artist also performs as a musician under the name of neoangin and shows cartoons shorts in various clubs. recently a book came out about jim and his painter colleague dag which is published in english and german.
