jazzanova is a dj, producer and record label collective, which originates from berlin’s first acid jazz club. after the delicious donought club shut down, the boys, who are influenced by jazz and hip-hop, were left standing. today jazzanova members dj every thursday at the wmf. the collective made their name by re-mixing incognito, azymuth, ian pooley, ufo and uk garage star mj cole. as sonar kollektiv the jazzanova boys produce their own acts from various styles, such as reggae, breakbeats, house and drum n’bass. jazzanova’s compost records released a compilation of jazzanova remixes.
