London guest houses  outside central london are many inexpensive guest houses. melrose house in the leafy suburb of penge is decorated in the typical english style. every one of the six rooms features a homely design and has got an en suite bathroom. there is also a victorian breakfast room, a winter garden and a garden with a pond. people, who prefer to be more central, can pop over to the economy hotel elms house in clapham common. it has welcomed travellers from all over the world for forty years. the managers speak fluent english, german, french, italian, russian and polish. the landlady treats lodgers like her own family. upon arrival, guests are warmly greeted with a nice cup of tea. at elms house, breakfast is everyone’s own responsibility. seven multi-bed and two single bed rooms are available. the garden and the two kitchens are accessible to guests. elms house is open all year round. melrose house is closed over the christmas period.  melrose house elms house COMMENTS Your voice on guest houses
