Tokyo egoist  the shopping quarter around the shibuya station is the second home for tokyo’s trend girls. whether recession is present or not, here you can shop around the clock until you drop. fashion conscious girls meet in the egoist shop. shop owner reiko nakane is the incontestable star of the obsessed make-up scene. whatever she recommends on tv shows or in magazines, is definitely cool. many of the 16 to 18-year-old gungaru girls come from the suburbs to shop here. they mix the bright candy look with expensive designer labels. real gungarus love hair extensions, false eyelashes and an excessive tan (s. tokyo episode 1). egoist is opened daily from 10am to 9pm.

"Towa really doesn't like interviews - and suggested to do the interview with his robot instead. It was a great idea, so we took his lookalike-robot for a taxi ride to our location. His plastic twin unfortunately doesn't move or speak yet though - but Towa promised he will tackle that challenge in the future too. "

"Cornelius is an amazing guy. And his studio might as well be a museum - full with figures and toys he picks up from Japanese toys stores that make the strangest sounds... and might end up in another track. If you listen carefully,m there are a bunch of unusual sounds on his track that came from toys. "
