Tokyo design festa  twice a year the big alternative art spectacle takes part in the futuristic big sight fair centre of tokyo. 1500 wanna-be artists and those who want to promote their public image fight here for two days for the entertainment spotlight. for 1000 yen everyone is allowed to exhibit themselves with their work. the design festa offers a mixture of art, design, fashion and freak show. the popular event was founded seven years ago by culture pope kunie usuki. you can find a preview of the next show at the festa gallery in harajuku.  design festa COMMENTS Your voice on design festa

"Towa really doesn't like interviews - and suggested to do the interview with his robot instead. It was a great idea, so we took his lookalike-robot for a taxi ride to our location. His plastic twin unfortunately doesn't move or speak yet though - but Towa promised he will tackle that challenge in the future too. "

"Cornelius is an amazing guy. And his studio might as well be a museum - full with figures and toys he picks up from Japanese toys stores that make the strangest sounds... and might end up in another track. If you listen carefully,m there are a bunch of unusual sounds on his track that came from toys. "
