cross golf in the german capital has no membership fees and no dress policy. cross golfer’s equipment consists of only three clubs, a compact bag and those colourful neon balls easily found on streets between cars, on ledges and roofs. in order to prevent the cities inhabitants from awkward injuries the balls are made from an ultra-light material. whoever is fed up aiming at rubbish-bins and parked cars could train at berlin-mitte’s ‘golf-for-all’- club, which is easy to reach by public transport. the ground is open from 10.00 to dawn. real golf balls and clubs are available for hire. from monday to thursday theinner-city ground offers special youth-training.
