cassius are one of the finest french house acts. philippe zdar and hubert boombass are old hip hop heads, whose first single, bouge de la, became an international hit and made mc solaar a star. today both members of cassius are house dj’s, and produce under their own name. hubert eats nothing else but chocolate or enjoys hot chocolate drinks. philippe is the hyperactive one, who never gets stressed. cassius 1999 album is out on virgin france.
