batofar is a cultural centre for electronic music in an old lighthouse boat on the river seine, directly in front of the new bibliothéque nationale. technically speaking, batofar is very well equipped. it  offers up & coming underground dj like ivan smagge and live events such as sofasurfers, breakbeat era. kitty yo, ninjatune, pussyfoot and warp run their label nights here. batofar opens every night from 20.00. in the summer trip hop and latin sounds are played in front of the boat from 12.00. at 22.00 everyone moves on into the old lighthouse boat.
