westermalle - born seppe smits is a world champion snowboard pro, who specialises in big air, half-pipe and slope styles. smits started snowboarding when he was 9 years old. he went pro at 16 and won his first world cup medal a year later. further world cup medals followed and in 2011, smits took over the lead in the swatch ttr world tour and won a gold medal at the world championships in barcelona.

smits honed his world-class snowboarding skills on the kickers of snow valley, the biggest indoor slope in belgium. snow valley is open all year round, with the slopes opening late during the winter season.
